🟧 Product Overview

PDC Cutter PDC Inserts for Coal Mining & Oil Drilling

Polycrystalline diamond cutters (PDC) comprise a polycrystalline diamond (PCD) top layer integrally sintered onto a tungsten carbide substrate using a high-pressure, high-temperature process.

PDC cutters are sintered with selected diamond powder and tungsten carbide compact under high temperature and ultra-high pressure. These cutters feature high hardness, exceptional abrasion resistance, and high impact resistance.

PDC buttons bits are widely utilized for oil and gas well drill bits, geological drill bits, and mining drill bits. Furthermore, PDC cutters serve as essential cutting tools for precision cutting, grinding, and polishing applications.

Available Sizes: 1304, 1308, 1313, 1608, 1613, 1616, 1908, 1913, 1916, 1919mm. Custom sizes and shapes can be manufactured according to specific requirements.

🟧 Frequently Asked Questions
What materials are used to manufacture PDC cutters?
PDC cutters are composed of a polycrystalline diamond (PCD) top layer that is integrally sintered onto a high-quality tungsten carbide substrate.
What are the primary performance advantages of these inserts?
These inserts provide exceptional hardness, high abrasion resistance, and superior impact resistance, making them ideal for demanding drilling environments.
In which industries are PDC cutters most commonly used?
They are primarily used in oil and gas well drilling, geological exploration, coal mining, and engineering applications. They also serve as precision cutting tools.
Can you provide custom sizes for specific projects?
Yes, while we offer standard sizes like 13mm, 16mm, and 19mm, other specific sizes and shapes can be manufactured to meet your exact project requirements.
How are the diamond and carbide layers bonded?
The bonding occurs through a sophisticated high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) sintering process, ensuring the diamond layer is securely integrated with the carbide base.
What design types are available?
We offer various designs including Flat Top PDC buttons, Spherical Top PDC buttons, and Spoon Shape PDC drill bits to suit different geological formations.
