Product Description

Hard Rock Drilling Cutter PDC Diamond Button Cutter for DTH Hammer Button

Polycrystalline diamond cutters (PDC) comprise a polycrystalline diamond (PCD) top layer integrally sintered onto a tungsten carbide substrate using a high-pressure, high-temperature process.

PDC cutters are sintered with selected diamond powder and tungsten carbide compact under high temperature and ultra high pressure. These cutters feature high hardness, high abrasion resistance, and superior impact resistance. PDC button bits are widely utilized for oil and gas well drill bits, geological drills, and mining drill bits. Furthermore, PDC cutters can serve as high-performance tools for cutting, grinding, and polishing.

Available sizes include 1304, 1308, 1313, 1608, 1613, 1616, 1908, 1913, 1916, 1919mm. Other sizes and shapes can be customized according to specific technical requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the composition of a PDC cutter?
PDC cutters consist of a polycrystalline diamond (PCD) top layer integrally sintered onto a tungsten carbide substrate using a high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) process.
What are the primary applications for these diamond buttons?
They are widely used in oil and gas well drill bits, geological exploration drills, mining drill bits, and as specialized cutting tools for grinding and polishing.
What makes PDC cutters superior for hard rock drilling?
The combination of diamond's extreme hardness with the impact resistance of tungsten carbide provides exceptional abrasion resistance and durability in demanding drilling environments.
Are different shapes of PDC buttons available?
Yes, we provide various shapes including Flat Top PDC buttons, Spherical Top buttons, and Spoon Shape drill bits to suit different geological formations.
Can I request a custom size for my project?
Absolutely. While we offer standard sizes like 1308, 1613, and 1916, other sizes and specific shapes can be manufactured according to your requirements.
What is the monthly production capacity for these cutters?
Our current production capacity is approximately 50,000 pieces per month, ensuring a steady supply for large-scale operations.
