Product Description

High wear resistance diamond PDC cutter (PCD cutters)

PDC is composed of a polycrystalline diamond layer and a cemented carbide substrate. It is a super-abrasive product sintered under super-high pressure and high temperature. With excellent wear-ability and impact toughness, this extremely hard product is primarily used for making roller cone bits for petroleum drilling and tools for coalmine and geological drilling.

Petroleum & Mining Grades: Available for various drilling requirements.
Flexible Design: Interface can be flat or shaped based on needs.
Diamond Thickness: Ranges from 0.8mm to 3mm.

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is a PDC cutter?
PDC stands for Polycrystalline Diamond Composite. It consists of a diamond layer bonded to a tungsten carbide substrate under extreme heat and pressure, combining diamond's hardness with carbide's toughness.
What are the primary applications for these cutters?
They are primarily used in oil and gas drilling, coal mining, and geological exploration for making high-performance drill bits.
How does the new technology improve performance?
The new sintering process and net-groove interface significantly increase the bonding strength and heat resistance, leading to a longer tool lifespan and better impact resistance.
Can PDC cutters handle hard rock formations?
Yes, our PDC inserts are designed to handle soft, medium, and hard rock formations, offering high wear resistance across various geological conditions.
What is the standard diamond thickness available?
Standard diamond layers range from 0.8mm to 3mm. Our advanced technology now allows for high-content diamond layers up to 2.0mm for even better durability.
What quality standards are followed?
All products are manufactured under strict quality control and comply with ISO9001 certification standards.
